Cornhole Instructions

Cornhole Instructions

Games are played with four people (two teams of two).

  1. Place two cornhole boards 8m apart, from front to front.
  2. Stand at the side of the board facing opposite your team-mate at the other board, your opponent stands at the other side of your board. Flip a coin to see what team goes first.
  3. Toss a bag underarm to the opposite board, alternating with your opponent until all eight bags are used. A bag that lands on the board is worth one point and a bag in the hole is worth three points.
  4. Telly the scores, then subtract the losing team’s score from the winning team’s score after each round. The winning team starts the next round. Now it’s your team-mates turn to play against their opponent.
  5. The first team to 21 points wins the game.

Notes

* Can be played with two people. * Single board game can be played; each set of players take turns competing. * Sliding the bag into the hole is a great technique, if it doesn’t reach the hole, a point is still given for staying on the board. * If a bag touches the ground at any stage the bag is disqualified.
